At Xodar, we're pretty straightforward. No gimmicks, no added specialty ingredients, just 100% extra virgin olive oil (and alot of pride).
Aluminum is amongst the most environmentally friendly metals on the planet. By percent, it is the most recycled of any industrial metal. To reduce our carbon footprint and be eco-friendly Xodar decided to package in aluminum tin cans. Not only is it good for the planet, it is also good for the olive oil (it keeps it fresher than any other packaging!).
At Xodar, we aren't in it for the money (though we'll take it if you're offering). We are in it to give back to the community while producing an incomparable product. Our proceeds go to the farmers, to the environment, and to help a volunteer-run animal shelter we started in 2008 with our bare hands (literally).
