Bringing 100% Pure Olive Oil to the US Market

The idea for XODAR came to me in early 2019, after leaving my job in tech with the vision of starting a company that redefines responsibility, sustainability, and yumability (ok, we're working on that last one) in the world of olive oil. Our goal was simple - to bring true, authentic, and high-quality extra virgin olive oil to the US market, while supporting local farmers and communities.

As an avid lover of olive oil, I've always been drawn to its incredible versatility, health benefits, and cultural significance. It's a staple in my diet and my family's history, and I'm passionate about sharing its many benefits with others. So when the opportunity arose to start XODAR, I knew it was a chance to combine my passion for olive oil with my desire to make a positive impact in the world.

We started out strong, launching a successful Kickstarter campaign and gaining traction in the market. But then, like so many businesses, we were hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. We were forced to take a break and reevaluate our strategy.

But we didn't give up on our vision. Instead, we took the time to learn from our experiences and make our business even smarter and more sustainable. We focused on building partnerships and going more B2B, all while staying true to our commitment to supporting local farmers and communities.

Now, two years later, we're excited to announce the relaunch of XODAR 2.0 for the next harvest. We're partnering again with the co-op and families like mine who have been producing high-quality olive oil for centuries. We're committed to ethical and sustainable practices, and we're excited to bring our premium, certified single-origin extra virgin olive oil to the US market once again.
